Tenn QB Nico Iamaleava transferring to UCLA

The 'camp' along with the IRS will take the majority of his money. Someday there will be a 30 for 30 documentary Broke 3 focusing on the NIL scam.
If you are star players on a team he goes to why wouldn't you tell your coach you want more money to play.

Sadly, this is probably more true than speculation.

Heupel is going to land someone good out of the portal...agents are likely pitching some darn good QBs who perhaps weren’t on leave mode.
It still a mess in Knoxville. Anyone who comes to Knoxville will be no better than Nico, he will be leaving his team to take the UT spot leaving his old team in a bad spot. While many teammates will justify the action, and some with merit especially if moving up a level or gaining a significant NIL increase, nevertheless, he left his team in bas circumstances. Even hi s new teammates will be skeptical to some extent.

It’s a BS move. He literally didn’t honor the contract he signed. But that program is far from being a mess.

Respectively, we see things differently, right now, the Tennessee clubhouse does not have a plan following spring practices. Even their spring game is not an indicator as UT is likely to look for a new starter. Even if a new starter is named, spring practices are over and the matter cannot be resolved until summer camp.

Will Tennessee recover? Probably. However, it is not like they have no issues. Plus, they have to prepare for the SEC, not just their opener. Few players will walk into the QB spot at a new school and work out as well as McCord did.

People still thinking your paying for what he did previously and not for what he does in the future.

Hes still extremely young. I’m sure he will be excellent wherever he goes. He has a ton of potential.

Doesnt mean this was a smart decision, but people looking at his stats is not the entire story.

The story is he had a deal with Tennessee and or it’s collective and then he tried to hold out for more money and or cut a new deal elsewhere and UT said no.

Do you think maybe it’s possible that what somebody’s done previously is an indicator of what they may do in the future? I wouldn’t give this kid spit.
