I feel bad for the kid. He's a poor kid who probably doesn’t have a pot to piss in, both parents are dead, so it's not like mom and dad or anybody is flipping him spending money. Can’t have a job – or at least a job like regular students. It’s really a shame.

Frankly, he’d play all spring if I were coach and then I’d suspend him for 1 or 2 games this season.

This is a good example why student athletes should be given the $2K a year spending money stipend – which by the way, Rutgers vetoed.

I'm not sure who you went to college with but I certainly wasn't alone in the stupidity club. And if you don't see the difference between petit and grand larceny, I can't help you there. The kid will get a second chance (which he should for something like this) and hopefully he learns from it and makes better decisions going forward.

That's really too bad. Kid has had a tough life, and there's never been an indication that he's anything but a good kid.

Hunt is dealing with his issues by shoplifting. You are dealing with yours by forcing us to read all of your negative comments. I guess you 2 aren't as different as you think except your older and theoretically more mature.

Local TV news reports say Hunt has been suspended. No word on how long. My guess is that he misses all of the spring practices.

Gives Broyld a golden opportunity to position himself as the heir apparent. Who knows, maybe the most handsomest boy in the whole wide world can bust a move this spring too?

Why would he be out for the spring? Why not some type of game punishment vs practice. Hold him out of a game or two but let the kid practice

He certainly has work to do if he wants to start. ACC linemen should be much tougher than most rent-a-cops.
