Beard will bring in some nice talent at Texas. I almost feel bad for TT. (Not really) such a cutthroat business!

This was a no brainer. He’s a UT alum and it’s a lot easier to recruit to Austin than Lubbock.

Can't agree with the Austin vs Lubbock comparison more... the best thing I can say about Lubbock is that it has a number of chic filet's close to the loop around town that on can hit on the way to Santa Fe from Austin. The area around Lubbock is a desolate wasteland that reminds me of a 3rd world African country and Mad Max... only with a worse smell.

Austin on the other hand is one of the best cities in the US to live in assuming you can ignore the fact that gov. abbott and the Texas ag Paxton also live here.
