What strikes me is that Dino Babers has gravitas - his entire demeanor makes clear that he is the head coach - that he is in charge and in control.

He inspires the kind of confidence that the comments on this board seem to reflect.

As much as I like Scott Shafer I never received that kind of vibe from him.

And though I believe Coach Shafer had a plan when he took over, there is no doubt that Dino not only has a plan but began implementing the plan as soon as he had an agreement with Syracuse University.

I have watched a number of BG press conferences. Dino is very good at it - he is comfortable with the press and clearly in charge during the sessions.

He's just a real impressive man.

Lets hope that he is up to the challenge that is Syracuse University Football. I think he is.
