They may be the dumbest fans ive ever encountered. I was reading a thread over there. They said urban told ash to hire up and coming coaches. The rutgers fans took this as a sign of disrespect. Like urban was trying to give bad advice. They called him a hippocrit since he hired schiano. Those nitwits cannot even distinguish the difference in situation of urban at tosu and ash at rutgers. Seriously guys? The only logical conclusions are:
1. They must think urban thinks rutgers is a threat. How laughable
2. Theyre probably the dumbest fanbase ever. Urban built up a couple of programs including bg and utah. Id listen to him if i were ash.

Seriously, the worst fanbase going. Literally the worst AD in the p5 conference. Ive never seen a group of people act so entitled while being the ultimate doormat.

Yes rutgirls fans (minus Al) are the dumbest fan base ever. Urban did the same thing when he was climbing the ladder. Now that he's one of the greatest coaches on the planet he can do whatever he wants. He doesn't need to hire an up and comer. I've read some fascinating things on the guy and his philosophies. Super smart and like Saban, it's all done 'his' way.

Rutgirls was also handicapped in their hiring because they clearly have no budget for assistants. I wouldve slit my wrists if we hired Ash but then to see his assistants? oh man.

Rutgers fans are worried more than they care to admit. Their new staff has brought in i believe 1 recruit. A former Temple commit that prepped at Milford for a year. They have had a ton of defections. They lost their last 4 star to UNC this week, and i beleive a WR of theirs just got a PSU offer and is probably on his way out as well.

You have to imagine their in for another tough year next year, new coach, completely new sceme with the wrong players, so what, 3-4 wins? Recruiting wont uptick winning 3-4 games next year with many blowouts. Their facilities are eghh. They just launched an agressive 100M campaign. We'll see how that works out. That being said, this could be make or break era for Ash and that program.
