How is Rutgers scheduling 4-0 starts? They have pretty stupid OOC scheduling where they are playing good (and sometimes elite) teams completely outside of any reasonable recruiting area that would be helpful to them. Off the top my head, they've been playing Washington, Washington State, and Arkansas the last few years.

Every Orange fan knows.
Every Clemson fans knows.
Every fan of a potential playoff team knows.
Every ACC fan knows.
VATech fans know and are very appreciate. (They would have hated being the "fluke" you spoke of in a prior post).
Fans of CFB see me in my Syracuse gear and know right away that Syracuse beat Clemson (Hint: Htown = Houston which happens to have a number of CFB schools with rich football traditions in a day's drive)
LSU fans know.
FSU fans Know.
Miami fans know.
NCState fans...may or may not know, they tend to live in a Rutgers' type or "reality".

Hang in there, Babers is on the right track.

We can continue to watch Rutgers self destruct. Who knows, Ash may lead them to Schianoesque mediocrity. If so they will still get no respect because the B1G wants UM/tOSU/UNL/PedState type performance before the get real respect (see Wiscy, MState).

Really cause they mentioned the 84 Nebraska game during the Clemson game on the ACC network ... and it was brought up on ESPN on multiple occasions ... goes beyond the hardcore and/or casual SU fan ... and FWIW have you looked at Pitt's, Clemson's or FSU's schedules? Our schedule isn't the toughest in conference by any stretch ... LSU is good but those guys have played PSU and Ok State, Auburn and Alabama as OOC foes respectively ... not to mention a couple other SEC foes thrown in ... hell Miami after the ACC title game will play as many ranked teams as SU with a better average ranking by far ...

Rutgers has not started a season 4-0 since 2006. They have played home-and-homes over the past decade against legitimate P5 teams: Arkansas, Washington, Washington State, North Carolina, Maryland and a ranked Fresno State team. They have also played a solid Navy team.

Maryland's last 4-0 start was 2001. Maryland opened on the road at Texas this year. They play West Virginia every single year who is usually ranked. They played a home and home a couple years ago against a ranked Cal team.

Duke has played Northwestern, Baylor, Notre Dame, Memphis, Stanford over the past 5 years. They started 4-0 in 2014, the only time in recent history.

We could have started 4-0 this year if we wanted to. But we decided not to come to play against Middle Tennessee. And LSU was absolutely a winnable game as Troy demonstrated 7 days later.

Rutgers' last "big" win was November 12, 2009. When they beat #24 South Florida.

It's November 12, 2017.

They haven't beat a top 25 team in EIGHT years. A few of those years were part of the Rutgers "Golden Era". Even at our worst, we didn't have a streak like that.

Lville is going to pound us today too. Not sure why so many get their jollies off when RU gets smoked.
 
The game must getting way out of hand as I can't find their score now on live espn site and even in the big ten listings
