1979 was my senior year at SU and I remember playing all home games on the road. It was pretty cool watching the old stadium come down and the Dome go up. It was amazing how quickly the Dome was built. This current project is moving much slower and I have doubts it will be done on time. I keep thinking they will complete two girders a day and could have finished by now. Unfortunately, there are days when none go up. The problem may be waiting on supplies.

If we're delayed, it might only screw up the Colgate game.

If the whole football season is cancelled, then we only have to worry about basketball.

Was reported on the news at 6PM yesterday that Dome construction was considered essential.

Crane inside the dome towards the left edge of the stream behind Walt is taking down cables at the same time. Business is picking up!

As the latest girder was nearing placement, you can see where the workers were located (circled in red). At the very end, one of the workers on top of the existing girder was positioned below that girder.

They have to be a little nuts to do this. I can’t imagine what their hourly rates are. You couldn‘t pay me enough to do this. I hate heights. I get nervous just watching them.

I am wondering what the crane on the north side of the dome is doing. It has now moved from near the northwest corner to the middle of the north side.
