cant see them getting in. Reminds me of our teams from 07-08

Have to agree with you - 10 probably won't happen. They are 3-8 vs. the Top 50, 7-9 vs. the Top 100. Clearly part of the 'First four in/Last four out' discussion.

Boeheim even said the Hall has to probably win 2 to get in

Interesting - J Palm's latest bracket (published at midnight last night - after the Hall's loss), still has the Hall in (i.e., 10 BE teams). They are one of the last four in - playing a 12 PIG game vs. Cal, for the right to play #5 FSU in the East region. I guess it's because the bubble is so weak this year.

So glad they didn't listen to JB and expand to 96.

So much for people calling lunardi an idiot for having 10 in. Palm is one of the best, or THE best

big east is in too much of a down year for them to want to have to worry about having to justify 10. Maybe 9, tops.

Why would they have to worry about justifying it? They are not choosing the field. You're in or you're out. If you're out, tough. I think the last thing the BE is worried about now is 'justifying' how many teams they get in the tournament.

Seton Hall is probably right on the line as of the morning , but it might actually gain a spot or two today. I hesitate to say they are out, because its conceivable that the committee can pick them in the end... but they will likely not be one of my final 37 predicted at large teams.

Many of its bubble competion has a reasonable chance at a not so great loss today.

Washington vs Oregon St (a 7-11 P12 team they recently lost to)
Colorado St vs TCU
Northwestern vs Minnesota
Miami vs Georgia Tech
Miss St vs Georgia High School

Also
Texas vs Iowa St (not a bad loss, but for a team desperately needing a win, one hell of a tough matchup). It would be similar to the Hall losing to Louisville last night.
