Opponent hits some big threes, player has a career night, we miss a lot of inside shots early, dagger buckets at the end of the shot clock on prayer passes, key players in foul trouble, leading scorer frustrated majority of the game, and yet we still win? Huge props to this team. Defensive effort last 8 minutes or so was phenomenal.

And you know what? Trevor Cooney is a great BASKETBALL player who happens to be a good shooter.

Fair, Ennis, and Grant made big plays down the stretch when we needed them as well.

That being said, I thought Ennis played a very timid first half. Our offense has been out of sync a bit of late, despite the wins. We need to feed Rak more. I know he had foul trouble but he established position often when he was in. The thing about posting up is you have a small window to get the player the ball. I still think Ennis misses Rak on the roll a lot.

Great heart tonight. Speaking of hearts, pretty sure mine is at an irregular h

Early week road games at 9pm, too.

Terrific game. What sets THIS team apart is its WILL TO WIN- and they've got the chops to back it up. They hate the very thought of losing. You can just see it in their eyes and body language. When a game gets closer than it should, or the Cuse actually falls behind, like tonight in the second half or against Villanova in the first half a few games back, they don't panic . . . they get to work. And for them that means gunning the motor and running off one of their now patented major spurts where the defense clamps down, they vacuum the boards, the points come in bunches and they disabuse the other team of any idea that an upset can be pulled off. This is a very mentally tough squad.
