And they could have packed it in when we gave up what easily could have been a back-breaking score to put us down two scores late in the fourth.

But they didn't. They countered with two touchdown drives, featuring Shrader throwing the ball.

After giving their all but coming up short three games in a row, it would be understandable if the team had a "here we go again" mentality, and folded due to those end of first half miscues. But instead, they rallied. And this win is going to jump start our program over the next 2 1/3 season.

Shrader is going to be a problem for peer programs. He's going to give us a puncher's chance, even against upper echelon competition, because he's such a weapon.

Future looks bright. If we'd blown today's game, everyone would focus on the bungled XP that got returned for a safety and the awful management at the end of the 1st half. Instead we're celebrating because we have a team of COMPETITORS that doesn't quit!!!
