Class of 2014 TOC Live, Chris Silva, Matt Bullock, Briscoe

Bullock with a high up offensive rebound, and a devastating power spin move to finish. That was one of the quickest spins I've ever seen, makes a Dion proud.

18-6 RC right now. Silva with 10 points early. They mentioned his averages for the season: 9 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Bullock with a nice up and under, drains the jumper inside the foul line. He really is the consummate combo guard in the mold of Brandon Triche. RC is up 43-32 right now. Briscoe has 15 points to this point. Silva just sent a block into the seats.

Briscoe, ripping Newark Tech with 17 points at the half. Silva with at least 10, bunch of rebounds and at least 2 blocks.

3rd quarter under way soon with Roselle Catholic up 45-32, pretty much cruising. RC has a ton of weapons, one of which is out for the season in Pierre Sarr. But Gist, Briscoe, Silva and Bullock are tough as is.

I turned my head to finish watching Albany win, and RC up 20 now. Silva is out for now, poked in the eye.

Clinic. Bullock pulled up inside the three point line, drained one in his man's face, Carmelo-esque.

Bricoe now putting on a show. Two straight dishes to Cisse, another RC big man. Nice penetration and finish, then steals the ball off the inbound, gets fouled. Silva is back in the game. He is not Charmin soft. They're playing twin towers right now, two 6'9 forwards.

Absolutely torrid pace, Briscoe has scored in the 20s in 3 quarters, Silva, Bullock in double figures and I've seen Gist hit at least one deep ball. RC up 26 late in the 3rd.

Silva just missed a block in transition, but man he's a cat. Can't believe he even got close to that one. Really good athlete, quick off his feet and has an instinct for intimidation. RC up 24 going into the last frame. Look for them to bench some of the starters as this is fairly out of hand with one quarter left and Newark Tech looks gassed.

RC, running up the score late. Pull up threes, 5 seconds into the shot clock. They're trying to get to 100, but not liking this move by the coach.

Final score 98-80. Looks like both teams just had some fun with the run and gun towards the end. Court just opened up, neither side minded. RC must have missed 4 or 5 shots in a row that would have hit 100.

Although he sat out the majority of the second half, Silva has 5 points, 7 rebounds, 5 blocks, 1 assist and 1 steal. A very Chris Silva kind of game. :)

Announcers at one point mentioned that he had 10 points. Looks like he didn't, but Gist is another that contributed to this high scoring affair, throwing in 21 to go with Briscoe's 22 and Bullock's 18 points.

Silva, doing the thing that he does against Newark Tech. Not even at the apex of his jump here, kid's born to defend.

Tough loss for Roselle Catholic. Looks like Bullock fouled someone with less than 2 seconds on the game clock. One of two free throws and Newark East Side wins 46-45. Hey, at least Bullock, Silva, Gist and a few others have one chip.

Edit: just watched the replay (it's posted with the box score here). Game was actually tied and only one free throw was needed. Some controversy about this call with 1.6 left, but to be fair, the other team wasn't losing and there was some contact, albeit pretty weak contact. But still, probably shouldn't have been decided by a ref calling a ticky tack. Maybe by the players sounds better? Yep.

Whose the bigger man Silva or Diagne?
Although both probably end up listed as 6'9, I'm guessing Silva has room to be 6'10 or is longer and has more reach than Diagne. But Diagne is probably the heavier, bulkier of the two.

Should be different at this point but here goes both official measurements from last summer. Diagne 6'8, 249, 7'3 wingspan. Silva 6'9, 206, 6'10 wingspan.

Why don't we recruit 7'0+?
