I wonder what Joe Neuman, I believe the top FOGO recruit in the country headed to Yale, is thinking about this?

ring, ring, ring....Oh Hello Neuman, Desko here.

My guess is that he is thinking he is going to play for the defending champs and will get an education for what is normally regarded as one of the five finest universities in the country.

That Albany window sure slammed shut pretty quick.

Marr has done a great job there but as I noted before the season this team was really his best chance/shot to win a title at Albany even if Ierlan had stayed. They just don't have the depth and the defensive pieces to make a sustained run most years. Their offenses will always be good to great but the other aspects have mostly been a struggle.

Regular season this helps us. Post season TBD. As far as Yale goes this is an upgrade from what they would have had but not a huge upgrade over Conor Mackie. Ben Reeves exit is bigger than TD's arrival. He's the Ivy leagues problem now!

Albany's DC took the Siena HC job.

Former Siena assistant coach - move makes sense for him but man is that a thankless job. No real support from the school and just a really tough place to recruit. No program identity. Always thought they would be a better fit at Division II but I'm guessing they stay DI because of basketball.

Everyone tries all they can to stay D-1 for a cut of the CBS basketball money. That’s why they all moved out of D-3 in the first place.

They have had a decent D1 baseball program some years too. They were in the D1 NCAA baseball tournament around 2014 losing to #7 TCU by 1 run but beating nationally ranked Dallas Baptist.

Very quiet on transfer front. A month ago or so there was a rumor of a second AA moving but nothing transpired. Told of some third party feelers but no activity to speak of. Coaching changes leading to no movement either

Most importantly no one is leaving Cuse! Keeping who we have may have been more important than catching a big fish.

Still relatively early, expect a few transfers.

Any prediction on potential Cuse transfers ? Seems like a lot of guys will get passed over by younger players with promise as well as incoming group

Very few if any on both questions

Only name I heard batted around was Trimboli, but I never put my stock in it.

Totally Dominant Ierlan ...teams strategize to minimize Teat, with Ierlan maybe best for some teams to simply concede n chase him backward n get D's settle...

Varello looking very good this summer. Quick hands n improving elsewhere. Expect progression similar to his older brother.....
18' fogo recruit Washington is now headed to Marquette.

I liked Washingtons tapes bummed to lose him. Hoped he could've been a diamond in the rough.

I wonder how that works out with the NLI? I guess Cuse just let's him out of it?
