Kinda appreciated the sequence where Jesse blocked one off his head and then he was telling his team to get him the ball again and he emphatically dunked on Jesse immediately. Him and that freshman from Auburn are probably two of the best players we will encounter all season.

Agreed. There is that. He needs to avoid the silly fouls like over the back stuff.. so he has some more cushion and can play D with more pressure when needed.
...and only 5 boards. needs to get better position. when coaching kids, I wish I had a $1 for every time I yelled out "box out". Shouldn't need to say this to D1 players. I get they play zone but when the ball goes up, look for a body.
I thought it was just a knee knock and it probably was... but the way he left the court made me wonder.

That has always bothered me. Every single man should find a guy to box out when the ball goes up. You can watch the ball and find someone to box out at the same time. Staring at the ball while an aggressive rebounder flies past you for the board is infuriating.

At first glance, it looked like Cole stepped on his foot at the same time as their knees knocked, perhaps causing a bit of a twist. It is very likely that is not what happened, but that's what it looked like to me without benefit of a replay or a good angle.

He was a tad quick for jesse. But jesse overall did decent. That spin move trace had was nasty.

I don’t care about that. As a college player he’s fantastic. Explosive, physical, passionate, finishes well around the rim, extremely quick for his size with grown man strength.
He’s not Jabari Smith nor is he a lotto pick, but at the college level to me he is absolutely a big time talent. He could win B10 POY.
