He’s not and we already gave him a significant raise and I would bet Fran stands firm on that or it sets a precedent.

College sports is all about the benjamins $$$$$$$$$ controlled by the ncaa and universities. Now the players are getting their just slice of the pie. Free to earn and free to move! Chasing, more than footballs for "The Man". Maybe contractual obligations coming down the road. Three year deals on the horizon.

Even pro sports you usually get 2-3+ years to develop a connection. We did with Pena, but then he did something which just feels so out of character based on everything I know of him.

This whole system is head-spinningly neurotic and I refuse to get invested in people any more.

I was impressed with what I saw from Hornsby, JRS, Ross, and Darius Johnson. Of course you have Gill as well. It's a huge loss but there's guys who can step up.

Only one productive year because he was injured most of the time. It’s a huge loss. No way to sugarcoat it.

We’re essentially replacing all of our top receivers, our star QB and RB while facing our toughest schedule in years. Best of luck.

He was named a captain, really THE captain of this team! No coming back from that at all. It’s over. Perhaps something that led to this decision as well is regret on his side not going to the draft.
