UB new locker room unveiled

Very nice. Not sure how compares to su but when su remodels great ideas.

The lockers look like the troop transports from Starship Troopers (great movie, btw). But I guess if those ships were good enough to fight the bugs, the lockers are good enough to beat Eastern Michigan.

I can’t find a non-LEGO-based picture, so use your imagination:

I thought we already did remodel the locker room. Or was it just the dome locker room that was remodeled? Either way UB has a pretty sweet design.

Its absolutely terrible. There should NEVER be a track around a division 1 football field.
Yup...but it was built for the PanAm games.

Maybe in 10 years after NY state recovers from the brain and money drain from the state they'll have some money to redo it.

That program is growing up. They will probably have to start playing at the Ralph for their big games, or if they get into the AAC.

UB students will not go in any large numbers to a game at the Bills stadium.

Growing up? Their announced attendance was 16,400 last year. Seems pretty "Maction" to me.

Correct, Bills Stadium is too far from campus. Maybe 5-10,000 would go, maybe. If it’s perfect weather.

UB has a long way to go in developing a culture for football, or any sports, before they routinely pull in impressive crowds. It’s a mistake having the field on North Campus as opposed to South imo too.

LL has turned them to a winner and they are going to win even more and the bandwagon will appear out of thin air.

Can't wait for the Thruway rivalry series to start.

Agree, it's long overdue and would bring plenty of local juice. Problem is, they have had some impressive squads over the last 5-7 years. They recruit plenty of size and speed and they would be a tough, tough opponent on the OOC schedule with us having more to lose.

It would generate real college football passion in New York State. It would ignite the imagination of high school football programs and players, it would be worth it.

The impending Buffalo-UMass rivalry will dominate northeast football for the foreseeable future.
I see the players Bell is getting, I like Xavier Leigh from Troy, they are doing to be on the rise.

Yes, it would but I have a feeling we have been dodging them for a few years. Rotating through the mac needs to happen. A fun conference, relatively close by in fertile recruiting grounds. They play very good ball. The UB series wouldn't have many negatives.

I agree with you that SU has been dodging them and it's a really weak look.
