Uconn Board developing a Rutgers like obsession with the Cuse

Probably easier to bring championships to Storrs if you disregard silly things like morals or integrity.

Guys stop feeding the troll known as uchuskies08 once you ignore him he will go away. Anyone who talks crap over the internet is the same guy who will call the cops when you show up for the fight.

He, like most UConn fans, is still a douchbag. Suggestions that he would beat us up like the junior high school bully only reinforces that fact.

I think that's a joke. The southtampabill character threatened to fight the other uconn fans by stating his tall he is.

I threw a like on your post because I feel strongly that jerkstore is one of the great insults of our time.

I prefer to just tell people I'm sleeping with their wife. That once blew up in my face because she was in a coma.

Napier is really ing good. Dont bet against him.

Thanks for taking the time to read and comprehend :) This place is a loveable bag of crazy. Very excited to have the last true year of this rivalry feature two nationally prominent teams. Can't wait for gameday in Storrs. Enjoy your run.
The rivalry will never end.

I've missed this entire discussion, but...

LOUD NOISES!!!

I'll fight anyone strapped into my old aircraft.

You wanna piece of me?

The Yukon board was fun reading.
BTW, I would support a 1-1-1 in the future with Yukon
1 Dome, 1XL and 1 MSG

I hope the rivalry continues. We've been playing each other since the '50's, so that's going to be hard to give up. Truthfully, I can't imagine a year not playing the 'Cuse!

The height weight stuff is further mocking of this bill character who posted his stats than challenged a fellow yarder to a throw down. No need to rise to the occasion

So in order to get the joke, we'd have to read the "BONEYARD"...I would assume a great majority here don't read the "BONEYARD"

I'm not "jealous" of them, but yes, I'd like to have 3 Nat Championships. So go ahead and count me as #1.

Their last one last year really bothered me. That wasn't a very good team, but they stopped calling walking on Kemba Walker starting with the Big East tournament, and they got on a roll. We've only done that once under Boeheim, in '96. I'm jealous of how they get good teams deeper in the tournament than us almost every year. We've had some very good teams go out to lesser opponents in the Sweet 16. That better not happen this year. We NEED a Final Four with this team.

They did kind of pull it out of their a** last year and got some help with not a very tough road at all. But their 04 and 99 teams were very good.

Let's not forget UConn has had some underachieving tournaments as well. So has Duke, UNC, OSU, and Kentucky.

But I agree with you, this year's team has to go far.

This thread is about the Boneyard. But yeah, Okafor cleared it up. I probably should have been more explicit, but SouthTampaBill is a douche on the Boneyard who has a hard-on for anything to do with Syracuse. He is the kind of guy who says he'll fight others over the internet. Just giving you guys a fair warning. He's 6'6", 250 lbs!!!!

Napier is really ******* good. Dont bet against him.
meh. way too many dumb shots and decisions. he makes Scoop look down right cerebral. he's a talent but just too erratic. Boatright on the other hand...

That wont necessarily stop someone. Just saying

Eh. He's shooting 45% from the field since the Arkansas game and has 12 assists/9 turnovers in that span. Not to mention he's listed at 6'0 160lbs which means he's probably closer to 5'10 155; good luck to him vs. bigger Big East guards. He has talent no doubt, but it's yet to be seen if he's built for Big East play.

I agree with you're Napier assesment. Watching UConn in Battle 4 Atlantis and I thought I was watching Scoop with how many times Napier would dribble past half court and fire a 27footer with a hand in his face and 28 seconds left on the shot clock. His game log is strange. He has 6 games of 20+ points this year, and rest he's been in single digits. He's been in double digit scoring once since the FSU game (11/26). UConn is gonna need him to go score because they simply don't have enough other scorers to compensate for his 3pt games (although the assists are nice). Right now if you're UConn, you can say Lamb can go off for 20 at any time, but who else is a threat to?

All things considered... I'll take our 4 guards over uconn's backcourt any day of the week. :)

For all the bad shots he's taking, Napier has a true shooting% of 59.7

He's a pretty good comp for Scoop this year. Some stats, Scoop first

TSP: 59 vs. 59.6
assist rate: 33.7 vs 31.6
to rate: 24.1 vs 23

Boatright's the kid I'd worry about. He already plays like "soph year Kemba" so he's ahead of schedule.
If Calhoun can tame him a little & have him buy into their concept, he'll be a monumental pain in the ass.

Like the guys that brag about their black belts, brown belts , pink belts whatever are the same ones left laying in a pile after any fight they may participate in.

First I remember them was around 1978 with Cornelius Thompson. They were ok then hit a soft spot with Dom Perno on the bench.

We have a "soph year Kemba" on our team too :)
I don't know if we have a Boatright type next to him. No knock on our guys, but Boatright is/will be scary good.
We do have a MCW but I see a completely unique different player when I see MCW than anybody we or UConn , or frankly any BE team has ever had. That's next years "Sophomore explosion"

We have Western Kentucky, Vermont, Rhode Island , Penn, Minnesota, UMass, Richmond, Marquette, Navy. I could easily add NC Charlotte, Texas Tech, Iowa, Alabama, Texas A& M, even Butler. Unlike the first groupings, the latter teams were actually a little bit good.
They have George Mason and who else? Is their list as long as ours? May not be because they were about 5-10 yr behind SU in becoming a NCAA Tournament perrenial . I remember Washington coming within a whisker of knocking them out in 1999. What I do remember is it took a long time for a final 4. The Donyell Marshall, Tate George, Ray Allen, Doron Scheffer teams were always expected to be FF material but always came up just short. Also UConn actually knocked out Bill Bradley and Princeton in the 1964 Gold Medal year when Bradley was a red hot item in College Basketball,
