UConn/SHU

Looked like a goaltend before that putback too.

It was definitely a goal tend, bit even more demoralizing for UConn the way it played out.

It's funny, when SU plays, I'm so focused on the ball I usually miss a lot of the little things. Watching Willard bounce around like a coked out gnome is hilarious.

Its a rock fight, mainly because the officials are letting everything go. Bad basketball IMHO. If this games gets more tightly officiated, UCONN would torch them. Don't read too much into this even if UCONN loses...its 5 on 8. Lamb is the best player on the floor. UCONN's PG's need to settle down. If I were Blaney, I'd go with three guards, Drummond and Olander. Roscoe Smith is too soft to compete in this kind of game. _____willow.

The Pope is infallible "at the buzzer"!!

Pope could kill these guys in the paint if he keeps going to his little hook.

Maybe he brings the Ark of the Covenant out to start the second half? Or the Shroud?

Who is that Daniels guy Uconn is running out there, not impressed with him at all.

I'm am so happy Pope decided to save his worst game of the year for us. I was truly worried about him heading into the game vs us. He killed us last year, and I was expecting the same think this year considering his improvement.

Just hope he doesn't start rockin the stigmata during the game. Could affect his rebounding!

I'm not sure who some of UConn's bench players are, but I am sure they aren't as deep as we are (but who is?).

The reason I'm 100% sure we are more talented and deeper than UConn is simply this Niles Giffey character. IMO, he's a light-weight version of Trevor Cooney, a guy we redshirted this season because there was little chance he would play anything other than scrub minutes. Giffey would be fighting with the walk-ons on our team for minutes.

Hopefully Fab had something to do with that. Probably a combination of Fab and a bad game, but how great would it be if it was purely Fab asserting his dominance?

So if not for the refs uconn would be up 15 instead of down 15? please. Uconn is a good but not even close to a great team.

No doubt that our zone and Fab had a lot to do with Pope's off night. But Pope is still capable of putting up double digits on an "off" night. He laid a stinker vs us by only putting up 4 points and only had a few rebounds.

How could they give Calhoun get the victories from his suspension? That would be a travesty!

I'm starting to not know how the hell the Big East lines up after us... UConn looks completely disoriented against SHU's defenses.

Seton Hall starting to implode, cant stop turning it over.

Honestly, Lamb is the only big time player on UConn. Drummond will be a beast, but he's going through an adjustment period right now with the start of Big East play.

I'm still amazed UConn won the NC last year. Kemba was good, but was he really that good?? This UConn team looks alot closer to the 9-9, 11th place Big East team from last year than the NC team from last year.

#1)Syracuse

#2.)Louisville
#3.)Marquette
#4.)Connecticut

#5.)Georgetown etc...

Neutral court, tighly officiated game, UCONN is a double digit winner. Yes, that exactly what I'm saying. Seton Hall is making this a rock fight. Credit to them. But I'm not seeing anything more than great effort on SHU. Execution is marginal.

You're overrating UCT, and underrating Seton Hall

Jeremy Effin Lamb. Can't stand the guy. Great player, but can't stand him. :)

Jesus calling this a rock fight is an insult, these guys both cant score worth a .
