Theo Pinson; McDonald's All American; Junior
Joel Berry; McDonald's All American; Junior
Kennedy Meeks; McDonald's All American; Senior
Isaiah Hicks; McDonald's All American; Senior
Justin Jackson; McDonald's All American; Junior

How do they get so many McDonald's All Americans to stay in school for so long?

Honestly, that's a very good question.

You look at UNC's roster, and think what the f... These kids could be making money in the NBA or overseas, but decided to stay. How come we can't get our kids to stay?
I feel as if many of the kids we have recruited the past few years have not wanted to be in Syracuse. It's one of the reasons I like Matthew Moyer so much and I'm equally happy to see we offered Howard Washington. These are program guys who I believe would stay 3-4 years even if their future was in the NBA.

Simple Answer - who are the nba players in this group? Jackson prob but not definitely and then no one else. This is just an anomaly when they have a bunch of cj fair level players.

Omg as i typed this - zagoria just asked about no one and dones
Meek said because family values education
Jackson took pc route and said he loves playing ball at unc
They all laughed

Meeks is a below the rim big who has no
Place in today's NBA because he can't shoot or block shots. Same for Hicks.

Pinson is an athletic wing that can't shoot. No place in today's NBA.

Jackson is a lottery pick that finally learned how to shoot this year and I would guess Berry has a chance to be a second round pick.

Meeks is the prime example of a player who puts up big numbers in college, but has limited upside.

Meeks is like a much worse michael sweetney and sweetney floundered out of nba quickly

Jackson is better than Lydon.

I do feel if Lydon was a Tar Heel, he'd be wearing UNC blue as a Junior.

We're not the only school that constantly loses players early to the NBA but it seems nobody puts a thought into staying for us.

After a bad season like we just had, to lose a guy like Lydon, when he's looking more and more like a second round pick, makes you wonder a bit.

Add Tony Bradley to the list - McD AA last year, 6'10 big that would have started at center for SU this year.

Perfect example. A big with potential. Got minutes but not a ton. Will develop and play 2-3 more years. At SU he starts and maybe comes back for a sophomore year. Maybe.
