Just wondering if the coaches will be looking at any prospects from the West Coast. I mean the last time we went there came up with some ballerz. One of them became one of SU's all time greats Eric at the QB position.

There is so much untapped talent there as I was checking the MaxPrep underrated lists. Check this guy out for example. I know he may not have the athleticism of ED but there may be something to it.

Below is the MaxPrep List of 100 underrated H.S. players.

Had a little time at work...enjoy for what is worth.

Same thing here, just a few names I came across . I am sure coach Martin can at least inquire about some of these names.

Payton Bevel

K'vonte Baker - Not necesssarily a QB but has the athleticism.

Chandler Byron - From Gerogia, not sure about the level of competition.

Jamarian George - Speed and Athleticism are there, not necessarily a QB given his size.

Cameron Griffin - Texas once again.

Ross Malmgren - State of Georgia once again.

Peyton Matocha - From Houston TX, definitely under the radar.

Nathan Overholt - Great state of Oregon.

Cade Rhodes - Tough Classes in TX I believe.

Again for what is worth it!...these are under recruited kids for whatever reason.

That K'Vonte Baker video can't be Sr. Varsity. Looks like Freshman or Jr High ball.

I agree texascpa, somehow it does not look Sr. Varisty. Couldn't find anything else recent.

I am no expert but if you really watch these tapes. These kids have few aspects of their game that you have to like. This is just my opinion but below are some notes on the QBs.

Rackman I have to agree with you, Rhodes highlights are pretty decent and think is probably the better one of the group.

1. Rhodes + Arm, Size, Tough, Vision, Football IQ.
- Mobility (seems like a pure pocket passer)

2. Overholt + Smart, Vision, Athleticism, Play-maker.
- Competition?

3. Matocha + Arm, Size, Play-maker, Tough, Athleticism.
- One dimension? (Most throws to right size of field)

4. Griffin + Arm, Tough, Athletic, Size, Good Runner.
- Reckless (since he is a tough runner)

4. Malmgrem + Athletic, Arm, Tough, Mobil.
- Not sure how accurate he is

5. Andrade + Athletic, Winner, Smart.
- Arm (seems average)

6. Bevel + Good vision, Athletic, Arm.
- Size (in comparison to the others listed)

Again, in no way am I a pro, just thought of sharing my opinion. Please dissect the highlight reels all you want. After all this is place to do so...share ideas/opinions. Also the negative sign I used above is actually to be looked at as an area of improvement, not necessarily a knock on these kids.
