I got to praise jb for keeping this team focused and poised during this whole series of unfortunate events. I mean come on we haven't skipped a beat and we looked filthy good and playing worry free basketball at an elite level. I think jb could run the country better than some presidents but that's another can to open up at a different time.

The team has all come back improved basketball players and very fit. So much goes on behind the scenes that we dont even get to hear about i'd say roughly 20% of what really happens. Waiters did a 180, as well as melo. They seemed to bang heads with jb last year so thats why i brought them up. but one thing for sure jb took the high road and turned a negative into a positive and worked with these kids instead of writing them off like a lot of other coaches would of.

I'm proud of jb, and i'm proud of the team to come together when it seemed like we had to many chiefs and not even indians last year.

Still so far to go, but there is something about this team that I really love. I don't think I was one of the people who wanted Dion gone this summer, but I doubt I would have shed any tears had he left. Thank God Dion has more maturity than many here and that JB doesn't outwardly take from his players too personally. I'm also relishing being the bad guy. I love the whining from the media, and hatred from other teams fans. Love that a lot of ACC schools don't want us and a lot of Big East schools think we're traitors. We weathered the other storm as well, and I feel silly for some of my own hyperbolic posts about that.

A month ago we were all kicked in the gut. The reaction by the team and coaches has been a pleasant surprise and I'm already saving up for New Orleans, just in case.

The unwritten words is the lack of media articles praising us , they are just attacking our ranking and situation instead.
