Yes and we actually made the quarters back in 2002.

But we were not the better team in 2014. Belgium was the far superior squad.

What Alsacs is really talking about is having a team that, going into the cup, is someone that everyone is talking about was a potential winner...that means being on the same level as Germany, Spain, Brazil, France etc...

Gonzalez is a nice player but I feel fairly confident in our midfield going forward. He plays a similar style to Adams and McKennie but he’d be playing over Trapp in that spot right now. I’d be far more upset if we lost a promising young defender or keeper.

Lima isn’t a good enough distributor for the way Berhalter wants to play.

This performance has been abysmal.
Curacao has more shots on target and possession is 50/50.

I hope we are bored and don’t like playing this team as this performance would lose to Jamaica.

Good lord Bradley is a mess as our holding midfielder and is a turnstile right now. This is hideous.

Our team gets nothing out of playing these small teams at home.

Copa America is happening again next summer hopefully the US accepts an invitation to play in that.

Mexico is clearly better than us right now. Hope we get a game against them.
The defense atleast looks solid in this game but man we can’t keep the ball and break down this team is very frustrating.
