it will be interesting to see which uniform color combination the team will wear Friday at the dome. I was also thinking that there could be a fan vote every game to pick the combo's. SU could pick the combos that fans could vote on. Just a thought on a way to increase interest in the team

The ugly ones. All blue. Easy call.

Uhggg...Villanova has blue in their uni's. Can't SU at least go with orange pants...gezzz.

since wearing white after Labor Day is a fashion faux pas, maybe we'll see the whites Friday

I don't think we wear whites at home. Just my opinion.

As much as I dislike the all-blue, it would make zero sense to roll out new uniforms, announce the blue as the home uniform, have it be the only version of the new jerseys available for sale to the public and then wear something else in the home opener...so of course SU will wear white this week because they don't understand branding.

Blue jerseys, orange helmets - probably blue pants, but hopefully orange pants.

Wish we knew so I knew what color to wear myself. Not having a school color anymore makes it confusing. I'll just assume it'll be blues again and wear blue.

I'm wearing a blue shirt.

The kids like the new jerseys. Fans need to really get over it, IMO.

If it brings recruits, fine.

But I suspect that it does not bring recruits.

The IPF brings recruits. The ACC, the flow of players to the NFL and, most important, the wins bring the recruits.

My view is that the players come and go - the fans remain for decades and decades.

Some deference to the fans should be made when the uniform is the issue.

The fact is that we watch the uniform - year after year, long after the player has gone. As I have said I want to watch the same essential uniform in the ACC that I saw in the Sugar Bowl in 1987 and for the first time Archbold in 1968 - because that's Syracuse Football - that never really changes.

I really don't think whether the kids wear blue or orange or white pants means a thing to them.

If we aren't going to be the Orange anymore, fine, I'll follow suit.

And I'm sure the kids care more about the "style" than what color the pants or helmet are. No kid is coming here because we might wear blue pants.

Syracuse ORANGE (men)

Yup even Michigan and Notre Dame have sold out.

I haven't seen them I don't think. But did they change their colors? Do either have the school color in their name?
