Like this hire a lot. NEED to bring their safeties coach Ross Watson with him, Toledo been producing NFL DB’s like candy.

And safeties have been a weak spot in general for us. Kill that bird permanently with him.

Enormous. This is a guy that can do it and has done it consistently.

One thing is for sure - our defenses will have an identity.

And credit to Fran for having the balls quite frankly to do what was necessary to get the pieces on the staff needed even with personal friendships involved.

This has shown me so much more about Fran and his want to win (and win at cuse) and his growth as a person/coach. Not easy to make the decisions he has had to make bc of the relationships he had (ERob). Hes growing in every way and his passion to be the best he can be is being backed up off the field. Now comes the product on the field. Great job Coach!

Yup Fran and Vince want him here. Good chance it happens. A couple other schools and Candle at UConn want him too. We are willing to give him some good money too. He’s a GREAT coach and recruiter. He’ll be worth every penny. 90% chance he ends up here. Wouldn’t be shocked if it’s announced by Thamel or whoever in the next day or two. We want the DL coach from Toledo too. I expect us to get a few players in the portal on the defensive side from Toledo too. Specifically secondary and D-line
