What's the future of uva?

When parrantes, brogdon, and whoever else leave this year, are there new guys they can plug in and stay at the top?

They seem to me like a team that hit on the perfect mix of players for a couple years, but I don't know if it can keep rolling.

Tough to watch but not sure why anyone is surprised, if you watched the last three matchups against UVA the last 3 years UVA has done the same thing every game which for the most part is dominant us. Its an awful matchup much like Pitt and JB doesn't seem to make a lot if any adjustments its just pick and roll after pick and roll.

We've had our chances. Not getting calls, but we just aren't scoring...again. The difference really is the 3s they are hitting.

I would argue our defense is playing fine. Our offense just sucks. The reason is they are physically and mentally exhausted from Fridays insane victory. If we somehow come back and win this game it will be epic and legend!

Yeah, he did the same thing last time out. Should have prepped for that.

UVA's good enough. The last thing we need is for their PG to have an outer body experience from 24 feet. We've played poorly, and on top of it have gotten a bunch of bad bounces and bizarre shots by UVA that have gone in. They're also killing us on the glass -- no surprise since they have 4 guys under the hoop on EVERY SHOT.

We're pretty far behind. But we'll never catch up unless Perentes sinks back to planet earth in the second half.

I have no idea what their recruits or bench guys look like. Historically these fighter defensive teams have high highs with the right players, but tend to settle back down to averagish once the right mix leaves.

Maybe they have another right mix lined up, I have no idea.

That Friday victory was not insane. We didn't go to triple OT. Being tired is really lame excuse.

What's he gonna do? He gets hammered for taking the shot last game - and not sure he could have taken a jumper there with a guy 5 inches taller defending. It wouldn't have left his hand without being blocked.

G threw it out to him 35 feet from the hoop with 5 seconds when he caught it. He's been told to go to the hoop, he went to the hoop. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

When is Malachi going to start doing what he does best i.e. ascxoring and Trevor hasn't gotten into a good shot position yet. Gbinije has not played well either with TOs I guess this isn't the FF year we were hoping for. Sure its early but IT DON'T LOOK GOOD FOR THE MEN'S TEAM The Women,however are another story.

Excellent coach. But Tobey, Gill and Brogdon are gone after this year. They'll be good but a totally different team than this year. I like our chances next year a lot better.
