Luke Murray’s still being considered as a candidate from what I understand. He has been since January.

I don’t feel GMac or Hopkins are real contenders. Hopkins is Red 2.0 and GMac has not shown enough at this point. We need a clean break from the JB tree. This hire has to be a can’t miss and someone that can retain some of the players on the current roster. Not all of them but a core of guys. Anthony, White, Betsy, Womack, Fennel and the freshman center. Let the new coach and Kline use the portal to fit the new coaches other needs.

Very unlikely that the hire and the official announcement of the hire will coincide. That should increase the "fun" factor for the Board thinking: we are waiting too long; I told you guys, they are too cheap to pay anyone; new faces, same old Syracuse."

I bet we are well down the road of the HC hiring process now that the ducks are in order.
