Very unlikely that the hire and the official announcement of the hire will coincide. That should increase the "fun" factor for the Board thinking: we are waiting too long; I told you guys, they are too cheap to pay anyone; new faces, same old Syracuse."

I bet we are well down the road of the HC hiring process now that the ducks are in order.

This notion that Syracuse is cheap always fascinates me.

My understanding is there’s a top 3 (Schertz, Murray BH) and none are in family. I find this remarkable, and a little weird since its running against the grain of what the boards reported. The source is definitely connected though.
