And less of what we have.
What's that number next to Syracuse by the score? And less of what we have.
I have always said Syracuse was at its best when we had 6’4 guards or taller who can run the floor and create points from our defense…can’t even remember the last time we have had that.Man he was good. Look at how all those points came off turnovers and good rebounding. I miss THOSE days
Their length was huge up front in the zone. We lived on turnovers to create transition points.I have always said Syracuse was at its best when we had 6’4 guards or taller who can run the floor and create points from our defense…can’t even remember the last time we have had that.
He couldn’t guard playing man defense.its wild a player like southerland couldnt do anything in the NBA...tall, athletic, good dunker, blocker, great 3 pt shooter...seems he has everything that the NBA looks for now
...and how even a player like that seems light years away from what we have now...
3 star recruit developed an stayed 5 years. NIL makes it so these things don't happen anymore these guys will transfer 5 str8 years just for a bag or promise of more mins. Good job.And less of what we have.
The difference is athleticism is astounding. We had high flyers all over the court.
If I remember, he had a huge exhibition game his freshman year where he couldn't miss from 3. Then he didn't do much the rest of the year and people were wondering if he would ever be good enough for Syracuse. Those were the days...3 star recruit developed an stayed 5 years. NIL makes it so these things don't happen anymore these guys will transfer 5 str8 years just for a bag or promise of more mins. Good job.
This thread is funny to me because a lot of people are forgetting how skeptical a lot of posters were about Dirty. He got more than his fair share of criticism.
Wait for the Duke game and you can see it all over again. SMHI have always said Syracuse was at its best when we had 6’4 guards or taller who can run the floor and create points from our defense…can’t even remember the last time we have had that.
there were 75 missed 3s in a recent raptors gamewould be nice but seems a distant memory.
this is how the NBA is played today, watch this:
this is what kids today see, with the focus on so much 3 ball the high flying games are fewer and far between.
The biggest problem is the 3 point line, move it back to 30 feet and make it a difficult shot.I'm not saying I want centers to dominate, but a little bit of post offense would be a nice flashback to the NBA of old.
