It is close enough that I would put Ohio State at #4 to avoid the rematch with Michigan.

As to Bama they only played 9 P5 games. That and the FCS game should be enough to punish them.

Ls heartbreaker at #7 Tenn and OT heartbreaker at LSU (who will drop from #14)

Their best win is Texas, which TCU also did and had an easier time of it. Also they didn't even win their division.

It will be held against them though, especially USC. It’s also why ND shouldn’t be allowed in the playoff imo until they join a conference. That’s a whole other subject though.

Yes the team that got humiliated at home in the biggest game of the year is gonna keep it to under a td against Georgia that is a very credible line.

I don’t even like the playoff anyway but it is what it is. BCS computers had its faults but so does just about any other solution. It’ll never be perfect. Probably why there was bowls to begin with.

The ND thing won't matter anymore. With the 12 team playoff, they can only be a 5-12 seed. I think that's a fair compromise to stay independent/have their ACC deal.
