They don't care. Has no impact on recruiting. Our recruiting has suffered by some misses, Hopkins leaving, and GMAC being kept on the recruiting trail.

Had some big long message typed out but its pointless. Will keep it short and simple...if you follow recruiting and our program at all then you would know how JB is perceived by many outside of Syracuse. Not all publicity is good publicity and JB doesn't make things any easier for himself and the program. He literally gives every other coach and media person all the ammo they need to amplify our problems. Its pretty simple.

Things JB has unnecessarily said this year that quickly come to mind:
-Spoke negatively about another team's player because that player is leaving early for the NBA (Jalen Johnson at Duke)
-Complained about fans that think some players (e.g. Buddy and Joe) were getting too many minutes while others (e.g. Kadary weren't getting enough),
-Complained about an opponent (Buffalo) and said they would not be welcome playing in the Some
-Complained about Mate Oats for questioning Coach K's desire to cancel the season
-Belittling Gutierez

None of these things needed to be said and make JB look small. He is a representative of the University and needs to behave in a manner different than a grouchy old man.

This is about Jim Boeheim coming off as a mean spirited old man who handles any slight by becoming aggressive and demeaning. And yes they do care ...and it affects the perception of this program mightily
