The tournament is a bonus this year.

There are only 6 teams that could win it all.
Gonzaga, Baylor, Michigan, Illinois, West Virginia or Alabama.

Other teams could get to the Final Four but the top of college basketball this season has separation. A team like Iowa should be on that list but they will lose a game.

Making the tournament is a good job but we need to actually use our resources and be better. Compete for conference titles, double byes, top 4 seeds.

Syracuse fans should expect an at large bid annually.

The next group of teams after those you listed are just as good I take any one of Iowa, Houston, Nova, FSU, Creighton, Texas Tech, Kansas to beat th0se teams in single elimination the point spreads will be small. Dropoff is after the top 15 but when has it not been that way?

ABSOLUTELY YES Bourama (who I am a fan of, sucks he's had the injuries) would have helped this year. Cannot be argued, imo. But he had serious fouling concerns over his career here. So based upon that, and ignoring the clear injury issues, one would think there would be ample opportunity for a back up center to get time.

It's a game the Syracuse media runs on Boeheim and the program to have a guy who's sole job is to assail the program. I never see this happen at Duke, UK, UNC, KU etcetera. People in positions of power in those communities have enough sense to see that having a successful program is a positive for their region and state. I find it insidious and repugnant.

Not all publicity is good publicity and JB doesn't make things any easier for himself and the program.
