Very sad indeed. Nice campus.
It has been around since 1868. Older than Syracuse University.
I hope their students find good homes at other colleges nearby.

Based off the article dot com did on Caz College that seems like a strategy by struggling institutions - lets focus on full pay kids with the lure of being a college athlete.

My tiny college (enrollment under 1,000) launched a Division III football team a few years ago to boost enrollment. Athletics are crucial to enrollment at small schools.

My buddy was the baseball coach and the golf coach I believe. He got quite a few students to enroll just to play. They worked the concessions at the Dome for football and basketball to fundraise. Shame.
