It was the beginning of the end for Muschamp (it was already rough sailing before then).
GA Southern has done a good job transitioning from FCS to FBS.

Some other GA schools have recently started programs:

• GA State, now also in the Sun Belt
• Kennesaw State (home of next year's ACC lax championship) is starting their FCS program this fall as an associate member of the Big South Conference
