He might play, but Nassib won't be coming off the field for a snap.during the first game of the year (shotgun or under center).

chances are at 100%. believe me. Just dont know how often. No doubt the position is Nassib's as he gives us the best chance to win. Inserting Broyld in packages like he did Nassib w/paulus is guaranteed. This allows them to extend drives that normally stalled out last year. Plus Ashton will create big plays.
I like the sound of this. Just another thing that opposing teams will have to game plan for. Do you know if Hunt has fallen out of favor with the staff?
You make a convincing case.chances are at 100%. believe me.
I'm assume they like him at QB and not say TE? Do they plan on keeping him there?I have no idea how they feel about Hunt. I do know they like Ashton very much
No TE. More like RB. Haha
ThisAll I will says is this (and I have zero inside knowledge here) - Marrone bemoaned the lack of big plays last year. I think we all can agree that Broyld brings the danger of the big play and is a player that if sucessful, will keep opposing DC's up at night.
It makes sense to me that what Marrone is really doing is protecting Ashton from the public eye. The kid is raw - and I don't think he wants Ashton to be scrutinized by the fans - who will either heap unrealistic expectations on the kid, or subject him to ridicule. I really don't think this is a competitive advantage thing. But I don't think you need to be a rocket scientist to realize that Broyld is certainly the reason why practices are closed.
