HA HA! Then he gets a years paid vacation and goes to NY Giants in 2016
He does get paid to sit at home if he chooses.I don't think he gets paid to sit at home. He's the one who opted out. And i dont think he wouldve opted out unless he had another job in the NFL already lined up. Marrone is quite a few things, but he is not a fool - he will get his.

That's not so crazy

Jets I hope.He will be the next coach of the Jets or Falcons. Book it.

I just read that in an ESPN article, jesus (i wasnt about to cull throw a 13 page thread about a coach who means nothing to me of an nfl team that is a farce). Honestly, i find it unbelievable, but in upstate ny, giving people money for the promise of work they dont actually have to perform seems to be the norm.
considering all of the interviews he has lined up, he will get a job easily
Well I am right and I wasn't going to rub it in your face that's why I stayed quiet on this thus far. And you totally misinterpreted my original stance (not shocking.) Which was when a NEW owner takes over he cleans house. The fact he wouldn't give Doug what he wanted is just his way of saying to Doug, leave ...I ain't gonna miss ya or beg ya to stick around. So, in reality he did clean house. Just not in a conventional way.You were right, he is out of Buffalo after two years with a 9-7 record.
That is would be his choice after trying renegotiation and turning down a raise and an extension, walking away with $4M with no offset doesn't quite fit your original premise though.
It's a miracle.
