I thought he’s just had some bad luck with cramps and injuries, but yeah, just read this article earlier today. I think the issues he has had are legit, but he’s not taking any chances that would risk his draft stock. Does sound like even Self is getting frustrated.

Nahh, scouts aren’t dumb. They know that the goal is the NBA and when you’re a consensus top 5 pick it’s all about preservation. Frankly, he’s probably one of the smart ones. Yeah hell get crap for this but he doesn’t have anything left to prove

It’s definitely causing some second thoughts in NBA front offices. That’s been talked about on a couple podcasts I listen to.

The guy who will bail on his college team in these circumstances is the guy who will shut it down in the NBA when he’s got a fat contract.
