Based off the games to date and with what is left, we probably will end up 18-19, outside shot at 17th.

Need to root for Iowa and Duke

Not sure if pollsters jump us over Miami and Colorado.

I'll be seriously disappointed if we don't jump Colorado and Miami, and I'd love to hear them justify why we shouldn't.

Fran can sell Cuse to recruits as a 10-win, top 20 ranked team. My prediction has us ranked #18, ahead of CU and Miami.

Let’s all root for Iowa over Mizzou. (fun fact, my childhood friend’s daughter is on the cheerleading squad for the Hawkeyes)

I agree. Should also jump Army. Notre Dame was the only ranked team they played and they lost. We went 9-2 against bowl teams (Holy Cross and Stanford were only teams that didn't make a bowl) and played 2 current top 25 teams and beat both of them.

Weren't we listed at #21 in our game, and I thought Colorado was #23 in theirs.

Edit: Playoff rankings we are the numbers above, AP we are #22 and Colorado is #20. All that matters at end of season is Playoff Rankings.

If we don't jump over Colorado and Miami, Fran will use that as motivation all off-season and leading into Tennessee, the "they don't respect us" angle. I am impressed he's not afraid to use that tactic. He did it with Keys' comments before Georgia Tech and after we were left out of the polls mid-season. The man is a superb motivator.

The Fox graphic for the Holiday Bowl had us at #21, our CFP ranking, I was glad to see they used that.

Not that Clemson/SMU will fall far enough but we will be pretty close to top ranked ACC team.

IN FRAN WE TRUST!!!!

They should

We also would benefit from Sakerlina beating the stuffing outta The Frauding Illini.
GO LaNorris!!

It’s been utterly ridiculous that they’ve been ahead of us all year, simply due to having started ahead of us, and being in the B1G.
Got crushed by any ranked team they faced.
They beat NOBODY.
And needed OT to handle craptacular Purdont and Neb teams.

We were already ranked ahead of Colorado before they got blown out in their bowl game.

I think they should just freeze the rankings except for the playoff teams. There are way too many variables at play this time of year.

Assuming they don’t, I suspect we land between 17-20.

Yep this one really bugs me, you want to have better wins or better losses? Sorry but better wins matters more. I expect SC to take them out

Yup. I looked at wrong game. Meant S Carolina if they lost

Love "Sakerlina," never saw that one before. Now we have that one and "Clempson" for the SC schools.

Not sure if Navy makes the top 25 after beating Oklahoma in the bowl game. They went 2-2 against top 25 teams and ended with a 10-3 record as well. Their schedule was easily tougher than Army's and comparable to ours. Of course I hope we get ranked ahead of the Midshipmen but they have a good case to get a similar ranking.

Colorado is such a fraud. They avoided Arizona State, Iowa State, and BYU during the season. The did play K State but lost. Look at that schedule and tell me their best W.

Some poor NFL team will fall into the hype machine and take Sanders in the draft.
