Whitner went right because he reads the play is going left. When the RB cuts back to the right now Whitner is caught to far inside. I'm not sure what his 'gap' responsibility is there but I think this is an inherent flaw of the 4-2-5. 2 LBs can't cover the whole space.
Foster reads the cutback to late and just takes a really bad angle. Proper safety play and it's maybe a 10 yard gain.
McKinnly Williams almost blows the play up with the penetration and Cordy looks like he's the reason the RB bounces to the right. Great vision by the back. I wonder if our backs still go left and get tackled for a 2 yard loss.
Video clip is at the 2 minute mark.

Another thing I noticed watching these highlights and pausing them etc. On the one long TD pass against Bradshaw, Cisco really blew that. And on the missed tackle by Bradshaw, watch how bad Cisco and Foster loaf over to the sideline thinking the tackle will be made. It's at the 1:28 mark.

I think all and all many correctable mistakes from some kids who are playing their roles for the first time.
