This sounds insane but the wave kept the energy up during a long TV timeout. I usually think it’s corny but it was fun as hell yesterday and contributed to the atmosphere.

Wave….should preferably be done during a timeout and/or on defense. It was perfect yesterday. And it tells you that you have several butts in the dome on gameday. So I like it.

Wish I could have witnessed this show in person.
Was in MD having TG with my daughter and family. My daughter and I hadn’t been together watching an SU game in a very long time and never with my grand daughter. They all got into it as the game progressed and were screaming and yelling along with me and the wife. They got very sick of hearing about Xavier Restrepo lol!

The wave in a tie game though was embarrassing.

It wasn’t a tie when we did the wave. I think it was at the end of the third quarter. And it went around 5 times! I will never understand why people don’t like it. The crowd was happy and energized.We haven’t seen the wave in years. It’s fun!

I wore earplugs the entire time. My ears are delicate flowers.

I have had season tickets for many years and this game we misses due to road closures brought by too many feet of white stuff

We did the wave at the McNabb game in 1998. It was the best I've ever witnessed. And I still remember it to this day (was 17 at the time).

They put it up at one point, not sure if it was accurate.

It was loud though, my ears hurt and I left my concert plugs at home.

As somebody who takes part, these decibel noise meters aren’t accurate. They’re VFX animations that build there way up. If you noticed, after it hit 123, it restarted back down to 62. So not a true decibel meter

happy to be in the dome last night as just a fan. brought the wife in hopes that when my youngest heads to college in a year we can get seasons. she had a blast and asked what bowl su would go to and maybe we should plan a trip. mission accomplished. hope to be back on the boards a little more in the future.

Thank you. I feel like im constantly telling people to stop chanting when we are on offense.

I couldn’t see the road upper deck. But everywhere else I was pleasantly surprised. I would have guessed 41500. Can’t believe it was less.

Wave is fine during a TO. During play if you are watching the game and not the wave. It should never be done while on O which our fans do not get.

I went out on my back deck, here in Australia, and it was deafening. Lots of people in their sleepware looking up at the sky, asking "What's Orange?"
