I very much enjoy interacting with the parents on here. But this is basically how I'm going to be if my son is ever good enough to play high level college athletics, because I admit I'm pretty thin skinned and take things personally, so I can't imagine how poorly I'd react the first time someone criticizes my kid.Personally, if either of my children are blessed enough to play college athletics such as your son (and congrats on such a feat), I'd probably put away the keyboard and enjoy every minute of it.

That said, I've always felt that if a parent or other relative has a good grasp on what he's getting into, it's no one's place to tell them they shouldn't be on a message board.
