I'm not a ND fan but I hope they beat Wisc and their boring offense. That was a pretty bad TO Wisc just had.

I stupidly changed channel... how did ND get up 1? did they foul after jackson's layup?

Full court press and Hayes turned the ball over. Then Wisc missed on other end. Not sure who they fouled but he hit two ft's and now Jackson just capped it off with a steal and ft's.

Unbelievable gag job by Wisconsin, mostly spurred by that idiot who jumped on Auguste's head on what would have been a held ball. Ugly.

Gotta feel for Hayes. I like him and that's a really tough ending for him.

I'm happy for Mike Brey. It must be tough having to have worn those mock turtlenecks for all those years!
But seriously, I'm happy for him he seems like a decent guy and they have never been able to get over the post season hump. And the other factor is I still have a sense of allegiance to teams of the former Greatest Conference to ever have roamed the planet... THE BIG EAST

Some contact on those steals. Refs swallowed the whistle.

Based on the rules that I grew accustomed to for three decades, those were two fouls on Jackson on the two steals. And Auguste dived through a Wisconsin player's legs right before that goofball jumped on his head.

When they allow that much physical play, "fouls" become pretty arbitrary.

Like if Syracuse was in Wisconsin's place this forum would be a madhouse calling for the refs heads

If SU and UNC win and the ACC is guaranteed 2 of the Final Four. Big if, but still...
Remember the year when the Big East had 3 of the 4 Final 4 teams... those were the days baby. Those were the Halcyon days of college basketball... they were so great that Vitale even had some hair left!

Back to back elite eights for ND after going eleven years without getting out of the first weekend.

I guess a saw something different. Looked like Hayes lost the ball on the trap. Then on the play at the end there was a little contact but Jackson I thought stole the ball. Wisc guy should have done a better job protecting the bal.
