Wow talk about a tough schedule

I think we all know that you will be rooting. I just dont see how this game is unwinnable. USC last year...that was uwinnable. Mizzou...eh...winnable.

Im not saying its not winnable im just saying I dont see us winning. If this team couldnt beat Uconn on the road with a Div 2 QB who ran the same three plays the whole second half how the hell are we gonna beat Mizz on the road.

Agree on teh game we should have won and I have no issue with USC in the meadowlands but I was hoping for the 1-1-1 deal like we did with PSU.

i have an issue with usc in the meadowlands because su said it was a home and home in the dome in an attempt to drum up fan support at that time. in other words they lied to the fans.

Look I will be rooting just as hard as anyone on here for that Mizz game and trust me I want the win but I am also a realist. SU hasnt gone on the road and beat a top 25 OOC opponent since probably Mcnabb was here and those teams were light years ahead of what we have now. I saw this team on the road last year vs Lvill, UConn, and Pitt. I just dont see how there goign to go into Mizz and win.

Beating them on the road would be similar to us beating WV in '10, ND in '08, or UL in '07.

I think the realists on here know how hard this game is going to be for SU. You have to remember, this game is going to be HUGE for missouri in their first year in the SEC. This is going to be a must-win for them. At home. Against a team their fan base thinks sucks. All adds up for a tough day for HCDM and his troops.

Where is this hard schedule that so many are bitching about. Mizzou was 8-5, 2wins came against Miami OH and W. Ill. Northwestern 6-6, MN 2-9. USC 10-2 with only one win against a ranked team and a 2 point win over Minn.

What I wonder is how many of the people saying they won't buy/renew season tickets this year because there are only 5 home games are the same people who would stay home had we scheduled a 2nd FCS. I can hear it now "It's just ****ing Colgate, and we just played Stony Brook, why should I pay for parking/beer/whatnot for a damn FCS team."

I got news for you - a lot of schools will never ever go to Syracuse because the risk of playing in the Dome ain't worth the check they get out of it. Marrone said as much today and that has been said in college football for quite a while now. But, because SU loves you so much, it'll give you Clemson and FSU (Deion Sanders ain't walking through that door btw) but you just need to stick it out a year.

I said OOC road games and you bring in two examples of Conf road games both of which we won by the skin of our teeth. How would Marrone not be familiar with them we have been playing them 20 + years in a row my grandmother is familiar with them at this point.

I don't think any fan is "ok" with the team performing like they did last year. But I believe Mizzou was the best decision. If you don't, then you can choose not to renew your tickets, I guess. Living down on Long Island, I WISH I could make it to 5 games this year, so as annoyed as you are, relish the games you have the chance to go to.

I wish. Living on Long Island without a job makes that impossible. But I'll make it up at least once, as well as the USC and/or Rutgers games. Anything to support the program I love.

I'm not going to renew my season tickets. Goodbye section 308, Row B. I'll just buy tickets during the season during one of their many offers for tickets that will be less than the season ticket price.
