Totally unexpected. Like some have mentioned, he didn't want to leave the state. But why FIU? Could be he saw the pecking order in front of him this yr and started thinking about PT? Maybe didn't want to play TE and that's where we wanted him? Wanted immediate PT? Big fish in small pond syndrome? Hopefully, we'll learn more, but I'm certainly disappointed if true. UCF or USF maybe, but FIU? Waiting to see if this is misinformation, a safety net commit or verifiable. Need to also determine if his visit is still on.

I think we should all wait for more info to come out before jumping to conclusions, could have been a case of him "committing" to hold a spot there while still intending to visit here. That happens a lot with lower tier programs this time of year. To me it's really no different than having a guy committed to a MAC school and come here to visit and flip.

Maybe FIU is his only opportunity to stay in state if he doesn't come here.

Coach G- Not at all Adly we plan to move you to TE to be a dynamic player in the slot.
Adly - Id rather not play TE and stay closer to home to play WR.
