Class of 2026 WR Calvin Russell (FL) COMMITTED TO SYRACUSE (7/5/25)

Rivals and On3 merged a couple months ago so those rankings are outdated. I think he's 107 on the updated rankings

106

Hasn’t even been a month since he’s committed lol these guys have to cater to their SEC/BIG 10 audiences though!

Such a dumb article.

CR might eventually flip, that's just the reality of high profile recruits these days. But nothing in that article is a valid rationale -- it is just "a guy like this might not stick with Syracuse for long..."

That’s what the non-stop news cycle has created: rubbish

Generally if half your recruits/players are 4 or 5 stars you should be in the mix for a natty. We are trending positive but Fran and staff needs our help too.
Yes, the Blue Chip Ratio is real. The team with the lowest BCR to win a natty was Clemson in 2016 with 52% of their roster being 4 or 5 star recruits.

For reference, last year's Ohio State team was the highest ever at 90%

Yup. The closest someone has come to winning a Natty under 50% is 2014 Oregon losing in the national championship game, who was at 41%. Its possible when a team has good luck and a transcendent, elite college QB (Mariota)

So, there is evidence backing this up? Who would have thought!

this is random timing. must read the board?

South Carolina I could see but Indiana, Wash and Illinois won't play for a B1G title this season let alone a NC. Ole Miss is destined to choke its what Lane does and the Louisville mention is enough to make me vomit, Brohm is a tool.
