Mass exodus
Mass exodus
I'm good with this as long as Dino is not in charge.I’m hearing that football will not exist next year, Ernie Davis statue taken down,Dome used for extra Micron lab and hoops will be temporarily moved to Woodland Elementary once they can figure out scheduling conflicts with the over 50 pickup nights. I know it sounds a little sketchy but my source has been good.
Lucious Pusey as well.I heard Idris Price and Chad Elliott are leaving too.
You really think it will be different from last year? Could be, I don’t know. This year's portal will be like nothing else we've seen. Every team will have tons of kids putting in feelers and looking for greener pastures.
I am curious about “don’t fit the scheme”. Which scheme? Which sort of players? We have had a TE leave who wanted a bigger pass catching role, but I can’t think of many examples at other positions where our “scheme” made a difference. Typically guys leave because they see a chance for a bigger role (Howard, seeing himself behind Tucker).I know. My comment is in general rather than specific to Foster's situation. 41 of 44 on the two deep have eligibility to return and most of them will be in year two or three of their eligibility use. There are a lot of fifth and sixth year seniors that don't fit the scheme and probably won't be back. They might take their degrees and more or they could transfer.
Mass exodus is unlikely unless Dino is not going to be the coach in 2023.
It not as much about what the players want as it is about the coaches providing them with an honest assessment that they are buried in the depth chart and might want to consider transferring. A lot of players don’t want to ride the bench and maybe play the scout team as seniors and grads unless they’re committed to things that aren’t football related. Even then most just transition to being regular studentsI am curious about “don’t fit the scheme”. Which scheme? Which sort of players? For any openings that develop, our staff has an opportunity to upgrade.
I think that Dino will keep the kids together. Its his strength and i believe he will come through.
I also think that the coaches will stay. They have a good contract and i doubt that with the exception of White they will not be poached. As to White we need to pay the man very well and keep him from taking another DC job. As to head coaching position if he gets a solid offer hes gone
It won't be any different from last year, if for no other reason than not everyone has the eligibility to move this time around. You really think it will be different from last year? Could be, I don’t know.
Sure, but “scheme” has nothing to do with that. Kids buried in the depth chart will often look to move, usually a step down from P5.It not as much about what the players want as it is about the coaches providing them with an honest assessment that they are buried in the depth chart and might want to consider transferring. Probably because they’re Christian and are giving glory to God for the talent He gave them.I question why they always start by thanking God before announcing a transfer.
And this looks like a Halloween costume, not a football transfer meme whatever mashup.
and with regard to White that is the logical progression, good coordinators get scooped up for HC positions or coordinator positions at factory schools. And nobody can blame him or the school for that
Would he stick with a 3-3-5 if he had bigger players though? I’m not sure.I don't think that many factory schools want to play a 3-3-5 defense. However a mid-level HC offer is what I fear more for White.
... talent to hire someone to create a meme for them and turn their back on a program?Probably because they’re Christian and are giving glory to God for the talent He gave them.

Our DL was much bigger last year and we played the 3-3-5.Would he stick with a 3-3-5 if he had bigger players though? I’m not sure.
Yup, it’s what you do when your D is undersized. Movement and confusion. White has it down to a science but his achilles heal is the run game.We went to the 3-3-5 because recruiting big defensive lineman was a problem.
Must have done something Dom.Per a tweet from Dom Foster yestereday that was since deleted, it doesn't sound like he has found a landing spot.
He tweeted: Do I have to walk on somewhere at this point?
This indicates leaving was probably not on his accord and the staff is not trying to retain. Its likely that the staff probably gave him a talk and that is why he left. From rumblings and innuendos in this thread that is not all that surprising i guess.
