Absolutely, bama recievers dont get the targets and thus stats historically. Hell, even JJ didn't put up huge numbers simply bc of the offensive approach. Throw in the fact that bama had a LB playing QB this year, a work in progress and yup...he went to bama for name on the Jersey. Didn't do anything for his draft stock.

I just read that. AD blocked him. But, geez, there would have been plenty of spots for him to further showcase his talents.

Went to Bama because he couldn't come here and he said he wanted to learn to become a complete receiver. He played a lot of Bama's H-back this year. I think it was a smart choice for the kid, came close to winning a national championship and hopefully picked up all the tools of being a NFL receiver.

1,268 all-purpose yards and 9 TDs as a JR aren't huge numbers?
