I can only imagine him with teammates and some young hitter looking to make a name for himself. I’m sure he wants nothing to do with that life, but it has a long memory.

Talented artist that overcame adversity AND does not drink, smoke or do drugs. At the very least he seems like a great role model to have in the locker room and at practice. Far too many recruits, players, and kids in general come from similar surroundings. Probably a big reason parents from those areas trust Fran with their kids. You can't really know unless you've been around it.
