Looks like they are gonna pull away. This is a small team. Their defense isn't bad but it's not scary. It's been a long time since Huggy played our zone. I like the matchup given how we played and are coming into this one. They have given a bad Morehead team a lot of good looks.

Big 12 has put on a great show so far. They look like the strongest conference. That's all I got.

We got a serious gift of an opponent tonight and Buddy couldn't miss.

Come on it was a phenomenal performance across the board but the opponent had something to do with it.

SDSU was 30-2 last year. They lost a few guys including Flynn. They hammered UCLA at the beginning of the year and lost 4 games all year before us.

We played more guys and adjusted course. We hit tough shots and shut down easy looks after the ten minute mark of the first half. Tell me how that is SDSU?

Their big dude, Culver, can do work inside. Jesse’s going to get minutes again. Outside of that, nobody really scares me.

culver’s a classic bug dude though, and he’s athletic/strong. Keep him uncheck and we’re ok.

Different styles but I think WVU SDSU would be a 5 pt game or less.

wow mcbride is balling...looks very good.

culver also looks dangerous in the low post.

WV and Morehead are very similar teams...a lot of athleticism.

WV plays aggressive man to man...with handchecking...but not as much as UVA or SDSU.

Historically Huggins has great defensive teams that struggle to put the ball in the basket. This team is not as strong defensively as in years past but is definitely better on the offensive end. The other thing they have going for them is that they play in a very difficult conference so they are battle tested.

SDSU was a great team all year they were just off tonight and our zone had something to do with that. I was confused they were running some type of mini motion/weave at the top of the zone to start their offense. You usually see that run against M2M. I hate 100% zone 24/7 but it is generally effective in the NCAA especially against teams who don't see it. That team was SDSU tonight but don't kid yourself they could of been seeded better than a 6th seed.

I didn't like it when they had a couple point lead early, and my friend says " SDSU looks much stronger and more athletic. Syracuse looks skinny." We beat a good team.
