Xavier trying to schedule last minute game?

I can't see the Ville doing it. The risks far outweigh the rewards. One, you can lose. Two someone can get hurt. Three covid covid covid A win against Xavier isn't going to help them near as much as loss will hurt them. The team that makes the most sense for them is Xavier. But, sadly for them, they are Xavier.
Louisville May be out though.
Xavier-Louisville would be a good bubble game winner in loser out.

Louisville right now I believe should be out. We are barely in and have a better resume than them.

They might be, but they are in a majority of the mock brackets, they will 99.9 pct be out if they lose to xavier, the risk is way too high.

If you were the A.D. for the Ville, would you schedule that game? I for sure, wouldn't.
I would.
I think they beat Xavier and that win would make it a lot easier to watch the selection show.
One more quality win is what they need.

They could play the game at Northern Kentucky University neutral site and near both Louisville and Cincinnati.

Mock brackets aren’t the committee.

If Louisville makes it I would be shocked right now.
That win over Xavier would make it more helpful.
If they lost then they don’t belong.

There are no actual brackets out, no one knows for sure right now, but If I'm on the bubble and see my name in a majority of the brackets I feel a little better than not. The risk is way too high.

Louisville isn't playing anyone. The only thing they are doing before the NCAA tournament is testing all their players over and over again and praying nobody has covid.

EDIT: and cursing Duke
Duke’s positive was a walk-on.

Players have to be in contact for over 10 minutes for the disease to spread in that situation. The walkon was wearing a mask.
Louisville is fine. They wouldn’t play because they don’t want too not because of Duke.

I bet ya that SLU will play them

Your mindset is yours. I am not going to tell you are wrong.
I believe in being proactive when I am not a lock. If I could play a game to make it more likely I am In then I play it even if I lose.

If they were safe of course don’t play.
They aren’t safe.

Then why don't more team do it?the only time this has ever happened was st marys. Lville Might very well be out, but I get the feeling around the lville bball program they feel they are in.

Maybe we will play them if we lose today.....just kidding don't get your boxers in a knot.

Why wouldn’t we play them? I’d be all in.
I think wed smack them around, but if we didn't we would never forgive ourselves for scheduling the game.

NKU is in Greater Cincinnati. I drive by it on the way to downtown Cincinnati and I live in Cincinnati. Louisville is about 100 miles away. Which is why University of Cincinnati played their home games at NKU 2 years ago.

Makes perfect sense, since the Cincinnati Airport is located in Northern Kentucky.

The Jury will disregard the question. (Game).

(unless they lose).
