I'll take it one further... If I talk to my boss about a family or personal issue, and he tells everyone in the work place about it, I'll be quite angry. Possibly enough to quit or even drop a lawsuit depending on how sensitive it is.

I’m not going to spend time worrying or theorizing what the kid’s issue may be. That’s his business. I’ll find out eventually - or not at all.

Maybe he is a true #1. But we need to make sure we have a couple #1s to be an offense next yr, since its almost assured we take a step back in QB play.

Maybe one of the FR can be that as well. Ross was getting run for a reason until the injury.

If Brown knew behind the scenes that zeeds situation would likely mean he is not going to be apart of this team in the future (this year, next year, etc.) I doubt he would’ve added the comment about how he would make sure everyone knew when he comes come back. Also the comment about “everyone deals with things in their own way” etc.

I just feel like he will be apart of this program again, and I’m grasping at straws yes.

Sounds like Fran expects him to be back next season but it's not happening this year. It's a shame because he never got going but it's been great for Jackson Meeks.

Wishing Zeed the best, but from a football perspective I think losing him has led to Meeks being able to break out. I think we lost that elite speed guy that could take the top off the defense making it easier for OG and Peña, but he was still only a rs Fr who didn’t play last year. Meeks definitely wouldn’t have got as much run and he has been exceptional. I thought we were going to miss him a lot more, but Meeks has been a very pleasant surprise. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from him. It shows sometimes the tough, gritty guys like Meeks who aren’t afraid to make a tough catch over the middle knowing he’ll get popped bring as much as natural talents like Zeed. With that said knowing the latter is only a Freshman he will certainly be welcomed back next season. Thankfully Meeks has done an outstanding job of stepping up. Seems like a real glue guy too.

U guys are forgetting we are playing Pitt and huge pressure. We arent throwing 50 yarders as we cant block it against more guys than we have. we need hot routes and maye a set up for a deep one but over 2.3 sec we are screwed. Pitt is bringing the house and dont be confused if they are or arent.

That also makes the susceptible to deep hits. with a QB like McCord and skill guys that we have it can certainly be schemed if we want.
