I'll take it one further... If I talk to my boss about a family or personal issue, and he tells everyone in the work place about it, I'll be quite angry. Possibly enough to quit or even drop a lawsuit depending on how sensitive it is.You are adding your spin to that. It's abundantly clear that Fran knows exactly what is going on as the HC. No one else needs to know. If the player makes it public, then all good. Until then Fran knows. That's enough.
But, as fans, we deserve to know all the players’ personal matters!!!I'll take it one further... Fran Brown isn't going to blow up the kids spot like that.
there are always options for athletes.are all classes virtual and remote now as an option? how does he stay academically eligible after missing all this time and not being on campus?
I sure hope those same options exist for a non-athelete student who has to go home for an extended time for a personal issue.there are always options for athletes.
When someone - in this case the HC - tells me a kid is not participating for “ family” or “personal reasons.” I take it for exactly what it is. A request for privacy.
I’m not going to spend time worrying or theorizing what the kid’s issue may be. That’s his business. I’ll find out eventually - or not at all.
I wish this kid the best. If football is in his future at some point, great. I hope it’s at SU. If not, I wish him the best and hope he gets things where he wants them.
Based on Fran's comments here, I am optimistic he returns. But also convinced this issue is nothing football related. Hope for the best for him.
I think we needed help anyway, but double important to hit the portal for WR now.Based on Fran's comments here, I am optimistic he returns. But also convinced this issue is nothing football related. Hope for the best for him.
You've been saying that about JRS for a few weeks now. Bound to get it right eventually kc!I think that this is the week that Ross Simmons steps up. I also have a feeling that we are going to see a few more deep routes from Gill and Hatcher
I just feel like he will be apart of this program again, and I’m grasping at straws yes.
How many games did he play in? If he indeed misses the rest of the season but comes back can he RS?
U guys are forgetting we are playing Pitt and huge pressure. We arent throwing 50 yarders as we cant block it against more guys than we have. we need hot routes and maye a set up for a deep one but over 2.3 sec we are screwed. Pitt is bringing the house and dont be confused if they are or arent. You've been saying that about JRS for a few weeks now. Bound to get it right eventually kc!
Re: Gill and Hatcher, I'm skeptical they will have big games given their history against physical corners. Would be nice to be wrong here.
That also makes the susceptible to deep hits. with a QB like McCord and skill guys that we have it can certainly be schemed if we want.U guys are forgetting we are playing Pitt and huge pressure.
