50/50 throws can work.

But as we have seen, most every 50/50 he has seen the DB is deeper than him and not running in stride.

you need to be able to control part of the field to make a 50/50 ball work or you need to be physically stronger. He hasnt had much help on most of these plays.

True. Guys who can “go get it“ with a burst of speed, or abrupt comeback and elevation, are NFL guys. We have had a few good ones with this skill, but I think the last elite guy we had at this skill was Mike Williams.

in fairness, as you say, on the deep balls that have been picked, the balls should never have been thrown, and the defender has been in better position.

Hardship waiver may apply, but the ncaa will ask for details that I do not know if the team is able or willing to provide.
